The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to provide simple, clear, and complete information to natural persons ("you", "your", "yours") on the processing of your personal data as implemented by BEL S.A. (“BEL”, “we”) in its capacity as Data Controller.

1. THE BEL GROUP'S COMMITMENT TO PROTECTING CONSUMERS’ PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA

In order to best meet your expectations and build a close relationship with you, BEL collects personal data about you by various means, and in the context of your browsing on www.bel-bts.com. You must be assured of the confidentiality of the information you exchange with us and our brands.   • your participation in the contest “Back to School / Disney Classics” (the “Contest”);

As part of your participation in the Contest, we may ask you for the following information:

  • identification data (full name);
  • contact information (phone number);
  • data relating to your consumption habits which may include your personal data (e.g., receipt upload as proof of product purchase);
  • any information provided by you in the context of a contact request and, if applicable, the content of the message, as well as any information communicated subsequently during our exchanges.

11. DATA RETENTION

In accordance with applicable data protection regulations, your personal data will be kept only for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes for which they are collected and processed. Therefore :

  • your personal data will be kept for the duration of your participation in the “Back to School / Disney Classics” Contest, and upon conclusion of the Contest, for the time necessary to process any disputes and claims in accordance with the Rules. Thereafter, your Data will be either deleted or anonymized for statistical purposes.
  • when you agree to receive newsletters from us, your personal data will be kept until you object/opt-out to receiving communications from us (via a hyperlink inserted at the bottom of our communication emails).
  • when you make a contact request to the consumer service, your data is kept for the time necessary to answer you.
